AESLocker ("the App") is developed and maintained by Doodlr ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles user information. AESLocker is the free, ad-supported edition of AESLocker Pro; if you would prefer an ad-free experience with no third-party data collection, AESLocker Pro is also available.
AESLocker performs all file encryption and decryption operations entirely on your device. The App itself does not collect, view, or transmit your files, passwords, or encryption keys. However, unlike AESLocker Pro, this edition displays ads served through Google AdMob, which involves some data collection by Google and its advertising partners as described below.

We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage your consent for personalized advertising where required by applicable law (e.g. GDPR, CCPA). You can review or withdraw consent choices through the in-app consent dialog where offered.
We also use Google Play's Age Signals API, which helps determine an appropriate ad experience in line with Google Play's policies for younger audiences; this does not provide us with your identity or exact age.

The App requests local file/storage access permissions required to read and write the files you choose to encrypt or decrypt, and internet access required to request and display ads. It does not request camera, contacts, or location permissions.

We do not integrate any separate analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs beyond what is listed above.
AESLocker does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad delivery is adjusted based on Google Play's Age Signals to help ensure age-appropriate advertising in line with applicable child privacy laws (such as COPPA).
If our data practices ever change, this policy will be updated accordingly, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the revision date.
